WE BELIEVE…
We believe that the unique value of a Catholic education stems from a program of studies integrating Catholic faith formation with a curriculum that prepares students for academic excellence and challenges them to reach their full potential. Highly qualified, dedicated faculty partner with parents, the primary educators of their children, to effectively model “faith in action” and encourage students to celebrate their unique gifts and to live their faith. Students are nurtured in a safe and disciplined environment that is conducive to learning and are encouraged to witness to their faith in the broader community through a commitment to social action. Catholic schools teach students of all faiths, cultures and socioeconomic levels to be lifelong learners and responsible citizens of their local communities and a global society.

WE WILL…
Each Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Hartford will pursue the following initiatives, either independently or in partnership with the Office of Catholic Schools:
-
We will provide opportunities for teachers to form collaborative teams to share ideas, best practices and creative teaching methods.
-
We will educate parents and other members of the school community in order to build an effective lobby for additional local, state and federal funding on behalf of Catholic school education.
-
We will partner with the Office of Catholic Schools to attract, retain and reward professionally qualified, committed teachers, administrators and staff.
-
We will implement an Archdiocesan, standards-based curriculum to ensure that each student meets or exceeds the expected performance outcomes and that learning objectives flow seamlessly from grade to grade and course to course, safeguarding against gaps and redundancy in the learning process.
-
We will train and motivate educators to employ technology throughout the curriculum.
-
We will invest in upgrading technology on a regular basis so that our students are fully prepared to become responsible contributors to our changing global society.
